Eugeniusz Rudnik
Eugeniusz Rudnik is known for his collage style of radiophonic composing and his interest in discarded or “shabby” sound materials –smudges or verbal stumbles. Eugeniusz Rudnik was a core member of the Polish Radio Experimental Studio ever since it began in 1957. The Polish Radio Experimental Studio (known by its initials PRES) was based in Warsaw and was a lab for artistic experimentation. Like the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, its main purpose was to sound design for all sorts of radio programs and was also tapped for collaborations with other media like film and animation. PRES closed in 2004.
